Roly Poly – Winner of July’s Falmouth Stakes before taking the Prix De Rothschild in Deauville by a short head, well beaten by Hydrangea in the Matron stakes at Leopardstown last time, had Rhododendron in behind that day, who has since won the Prix L’Opera – 5/1

Ascot – Good to Soft

3.00 – Bangough Stakes – Group 3 Class 1 – 6f

Blue Point – Didn’t like the heavy ground at Haydock last time when an a 8 length 4th to Harry Angel in the Sprint Cup Stakes after a 1 3/4 length3rd over C/D to Caravaggio having beaten Harry Angel by 1 & 1/2 lengths over C/D back in May in the Pavillion Stakes, drops in grade – 6/5

PN Result – Ekhtiyaar – Unplaced

I will pass the baton over to Charlie to run through his Saturday Sizzlers & will see you for a jam packed bumper Final Word –

Cheers Rich, let’s kick things off with Friday’s results :

Caid Du Lin –Won as expected advised at 9-2

Altaayil -was an unlucky 2nd and was a loss.

Turtle Cask -finished 6th and was another loss.

.Just the one winner from my main 3 selections yesterday ensuring profit for the days efforts. We move forward and selections for Saturday are listed below.

Never Back Down -Has only raced twice, placed 2nd on debut at Newmarket over 5f, then was sent to Leicester and won over 5f. Has been absent since that win in April but the form from that 2nd at Newmarket has worked out well as the winner has since won again at Ascot, Josephine Gordon is doing the steering today taking over from James Doyle who was onboard for first two runs.

Win Advised

Mojito -Has won last 3 races including two big field handicaps first at Sundown over 7f and latest at York over 7f. Makes plenty of appeal despite a 9lb hike in the weights gets ideal conditions today and another bold display can’t be ruled out.

Win Advised

Shenanigans -Has won Two races on the trot and racked up career bests each time. 1m seems to be preferred trip and another bold run off 4lb higher looks likely. The main danger is Clearly trained by John Gosden who’s in great form at the moment.

Win Advised

.Well that’s my thoughts on Saturday’s races, good luck if following and please remember to keep stakes small so it doesn’t hurt your pocket. It’s now time for our Final word section and you can read what we left out below.

Final Word

Blimey, if you thought yesterday’s Final Word was ram jammed, this is bigger….

A cracking days racing ahead, with Group racing at Newmarket & Ascot, a couple of NH meetings into the mix plus an AW card at Wolverhampton….. Where do we start?? Rich will kick us off at Ascot(2.25) where the French raider Waldgeist, drops from Group 1 company to Group 3 after a couple of runner up spots this term & runs off a very low weight, while at 4.10 Eternally looks to retain the race won last season having finished runner up in both starts this term in Group 3 contests & takes a slight drop in grade.

Over at Newmarket, Knight to Behold(1.30) looks to improve on the debut runner up spot, beaten by a nose 15 days ago in a class 2 at Newbury, holds a derby entry & could be one to note for 2018 season, Astrologist(3.15) is sired by Sea the Stars & could also be one of note for 2018. Clearly(4.25) will be hoping to get away better today, having had a slow start when finishing a 1/2 length 3rd to UAE Queen at Sandown last time.

Fairyhouse holds a NH meeting &  last season’s Cheltenham Champion Bumper winner Fayonagh(3.25) makes season return on hurdles debut & is another to keep an eye on this winter. & Wolverhampton’s AW card in the evening, we will see Send UP(8.45) going for a hatrick of wins, having won at Chelmsford just 11 days ago…. See I said it was Ram Jammed & that’s just mine….. What does Charlie have that he left out???

Well in this section yesterday I highlighted a couple of winners from my French bred horses in Adrien Du Pont and Forest De Agiles and a couple of places from the rest. I also highlighted Weekender who won but was then Disqualified into 2nd place for minor interference with Raheen House.

We now look at what I left out today I have another 3 French bred horses that interest me although they just missed out on being selected.

2.45 Redcar – Mining Rocks -Won 3 times earlier in season but has failed to build on those since. Is reunited with Ger O’Neil who was on board for those wins gets first time blinkers today and visor worn for those wins is refitted.

3.05 Fontwell – Diable De Sivola -has relatively decent form placing 4 times from last 5 runs.Coupled with the fact that Nick Williams won this race in 2015 and another bold display can’t be ruled out.

4.15 Fontwell – Admiral Barrarty -Was 2nd in a hurdles race in France before being purchased and sent to England to run in a Class 2 hurdle at Haydock where unseating jock again is trained by Nick Williams and could win if getting a better run.

Well that concludes today’s post, please only gamble what you can afford and if nothing takes your fancy just watch the races.

We thank you for taking the time to read our blog and wish you all the best of luck with your bets this weekend.

Thanks for your continued support

Charlie and Rich
