Beverley 4.00 – Ideal Candy – Has won twice from last 3 runs, first of those wins came at Chepstow in a Class 6 over 1m. Next race finished 3rd in a Class 5 handicap at Pontefract over 1m. Was 13 days before Ideal Candy would return to the racetrack, with a trip to Beverley being next on the agenda and Ideal Candy didn’t dissapoint winning over 1m 2f in another Class 5, has been raised 4lb for that win and if using same tactics here could be hard to beat.

Newton Abbot 4.20 – Top Chief –
.Was 2nd at Fontwell back in September 2015 over 2m 5f in a Class 4 handicap Chase. Was then off track until making reappearance at Newton Abbot on the 14th July this year when finishing 4th in a Class 4 handicap Chase over 2m. Came back to Newton Abbot 6 days later to take part in another Class 4 Handicap Chase over 2m 5f and won. Was wearing cheekpieces for that victory and is now 5lb higher and could go in again if showing the same form today.

I only looked at two cards… Salisbury and Deauville….
So we will start with Deauville as they have Group action ….
3.20 G. D’ornando Group 2 Stakes 3YO Only 1m 2f…. Study of Man drops from Group 1 to Group 2 after landing the Prix De Jockey Club by 1/2 a length in June. With Intellogent(4th) since landing the Group 2 Jean Prat and Hunting Horn(6th) landing the Hampton Court(Group 2) at Ascot. Study of Man could add to the Group 2 1m 2f Greffulhe Stakes prior to land the Prix de Jockey….
4.00 Gontaut-Biron Group 3 Stakes 1m 2f ….. As soon as I saw Talismanic was running, I thought excellent until I looked deeper and Talismanic returns after 177 days away but has never won returning after longer than 86, si I will pass today with my preference for Wrens Day, who was 4 length runner up to Cracksman in the Group 1 Ganay Stakes in April. With Cracksman winning the Coronation Cup, Rhododendron(4th) landing Lockinge(Just!) and Finche(5th) has also won the De Reux Group 3, could be the one to land the prize!
Salisbury….
3.40 Upavon Fillies’ Class 1 Listed 1m 2f…. Nathanial Filly Crystal Hope, who is out of Crystal Etoite, was a 9 & 1/2 length 6th on debut last October in a 1m maiden at Nottingham. Made seasonal return in April, when stepping up to 1m 2f in a C5 fillies’ novice stakes at Sandown by 3 lengths before being stepped up in class. Finished a 7 length 3rd in a Class 1 fillies’ listed 1m 2f at Newbury. Sea of Class was the winner that day, since landing the Abingdon Class 1 listed and the Irish Oaks(Group 2) and runner up Athena has also won a couple since too….
