He strikes again….. Belting out ” Two outta Three ain’t bad” , well it wasn’t but it could of been so much better, with Song Maker(7.15) being beaten by a nostril on the line… What a difference a few seconds makes in racing… The high’s & lows in a moment!

PN Result(Saturday) – Blue Point – Won – 6/5

Have to be happy with the PN winning, I was also pleased Roly Poly won too, now here is Charlie with his Sunday Service & we will catch up for Final Word –

Cheers Rich, let’s kick things off with Saturday’s results :

Never Back Down -Was a dissapointment finished 6th and was a loss.

Mojito -Tailed off and was yet another loss.

Shenanigans -was an unlucky 2nd and was yet another loss.

.Frustrating day with all 3 selections losing again, hopefully Iv picked the right 3 for Sunday and they can be found below.

Charlie’s Selections

Alpha Des Obeaux -A tough season last year although didn’t win over fences after November, that could be attributed to reports that the horse bled on occasions last term. The booking of Davy Russell who has a 20% success rate here, hints of a sign of intent by that booking and a chance is taken that they have got the horse ready for this seasonal return.

Win Advised

Gustavus Vassa -Lightly raced and won debut race at Down Royal in great style, having a higher rated horse behind in 3rd place. Was then sent to Gowran Park for next race finishing 2nd. Was then sent off a short priced favorite for its next race at Roscommon and was 3rd, has moved to Willie Mullins yard and goes up in trip for debut run and jock booking shows a sign of intent as Mullins and C Hayes won this race a year ago.

Win Advised

Mash Potato -Previous course and distance winner who hinted of a return to form when 2nd last time out at Hexam over 2m. Gets ideal conditions again here and looks the most likely winner.

Win Advised

.well that’s my thoughts on today’s selections, good luck if following and please remember to keep stakes small so it doesn’t hurt your pocket.

I will pass you over to Rich for the Final word.

Final Word

I think we should kick thing’s off today by wishing Jimmy Fortune, a very happy retirement & racing will be the poorer for him, but we wish him all the best for the future.

Now lets start in Alphabetical Order(Kelso 2.05) I find this horse very interesting, had 6 hurdle runs, winning 3 & was rated 129 previously, been with David O’Meara on the flat & now returns to NH sphere off 115 & if retaining any of that from last time, could be good to watch.  While Forest Bihan(4.20) beaten a head when last seen at Aintree in April in the Maghull Grade 1 , makes season return & is in the tracker.

While there is more NH action over in Ireland at Limerick & Fabulous Saga(2.15) is Two from Two starts over hurdles, both by 20 lengths, although the last win was a 3 runner contest( Class1) , but had previously won on hurdle debut in Ballinrobe & Phils Magic(4.25) runs in the Munster National, after winning the Kilbeggan National(3m 1f) by a head before a 3/4 length runner up at Galway(2m 6f) to Rivera Sun last time.

And finally from me, Navan have a flat card, with the Legacy Listed (Class1 ) at 2.35 with Brick by Brick looking for another Listed title, after landing a Fairyhouse 6f contest from Gobi Desert last Month.
