As the sun sets on another Royal meeting, we have a look back at some of the highlights and give a full accurate picture of how we all got on throughout the week. So on that note let’s kick off with the Opening day.

Day one started on Tuesday with Lord Glitters taking the first race at 14-1 and sent the danger signs to favourites that they wouldn’t have it their own way. Arizona taking the 2nd race at 15/8f had levelled things up. Blue Point won the next race turning over Battash who was 2-1f and got both Charlie and Rich off the mark. The next race saw another fav turned over as Circus Maximus took the spoils at 10-1 with hot fav Too Darn Hot a length back in 3rd place. The 5.00 saw another fav turned over as The Grand Visor landed the race at 12-1 with fav Mancini back in 7th place. The final race was of double interest to our site, as both Jamie and Charlie had selections running and they landed the fcast between them, as Addeyebb won for Charlie and Jamie’s selection Magic Wand was 2nd and became yet another beaten favourite.

Day 5, the last day of Royal Ascot was finally upon us, would we see the favourites suffer another humiliation like the previous days, or would they strike back like the tussle between Frankie Dettori and Ryan Moore for the top jock title. The opening race went to Rich’s Selection Pinatubo at 3-1 with the 5/4 favourite Lope Y Fernandez in 2nd. Race 2 saw Charlie’s selection Space Blues another beaten favourite at 5-2 pushed  into 2nd by 25-1 shot Space Traveller with Jamie’s Selection Angels Hideaway getting 3rd at 14-1 .
