Nottingham racecourse

Hello and welcome to arseonlinetips… A 100% independent racing blog brought to you by 2 racing enthusiasts at either end of the UK… Charlie from Glasgow…. Rich from the Isle of Wight….

AS you will notice, the site has had a lick of paint and we have tweaked a few thing’s that will hopefully make life easier for you and for us…. We hope you like it!

Anyway back to business, standard racing blog…. Charlie’s Tuesday Tinkers & Rich’s Final Word… Let’s get them saddled up and head down to the start.

Charlie’s Tuesday Tinkers –

.Ready winner last time out at Nottingham over 1m 2f in a Class 6 handicap, although the margin was only a neck, having Born To Sea and Cape Cross in its breeding suggests that it’s a staying type. Has been rested since that win in May and although is 3lbs higher now, can still get involved here, going back up in trip to 1m 4f and could be the answer in a trappy race.

Win Advised

.Has won and placed 2nd twice from last 3 starts, win came at Chepstow over 7f back on the 3rd July, was then sent back to Chepstow 10 days later and finished 2nd over 1m. Next race was at Newbury on the 20th July and finished 2nd again over 1m. Although hasn’t won at this distance before has placed 2nd the last twice over this distance and maybe 3rd time lucky will see Air of York rewarded with a deserved victory here.

Win Advised

.Won over 1m 4f last time out at Newcastle, and although hasn’t raced at this distance before, a chance is taken that the extra distance should pose no problems even though is now 5lb worse off but is paired with Ben Robinson who claims 3lb.

Win Advised

Well that’s my thoughts on today’s selections, good luck if following and please remember to keep stakes small so it doesn’t hurt your pocket. I will now hand you back over to Rich for the Final Word.
