Arab Moon – Has won 4 out of 6 runs this term, is 2 out of 2 over C/D including a C/D win last time from Whinging Willie, the form of his 3rd the race before looks smart with the 1st three home all winning since…. – 7/2
PN Result(Thursday) – Split Stakes – So Beloved(Less said soonest mended) & Ennjaaz – 2nd….. Not good enough today… & if you read Final Word, I told AH to leave them alone…. She didn’t bloody read it!
Over to Charlie for his thoughts & I will see you for Final Word –
Cheers Rich, will kick things off with going straight to Thursday’s Results :
Black Kettle – was 2nd and therefore a loss.
Trilliant – was 2nd and was another loss.
Thafeera – Won as expected advised at 5-2
. Well what can I say about Thursday a day that was almost a good one, but the 2nd places mean I finished with just the one winner and a very small profit. We move forward and selections for Friday are listed below.
Merlin Magic – Was fair 3rd to listed winner on debut over 6f here on Good to soft ground back in July, was sent to Newbury and was pipped on the line over this distance and with normal progress should get first victory here today.
Manshood – Won twice at Hamilton over 6f on Good to soft ground, overcame trouble in running for latest victory, has been pretty consistent only finishing outside the places once from last 7 races and can get another victory here.
Footsteps Forever – Was 6th on debut at Chester over 6f, was then sent to Pontefract and won over 6f. Next race was at Musselburgh and was 2nd over 7f, goes up in trip here to 1m 5f and that seems a more suitable trip and a bold run is anticipated.
. Well that’s my thoughts on Friday’s races. Good luck if following and please remember to keep stakes small so it doesn’t hurt your pocket. I will pass you back over to Rich for his final word.
Rich’s Final Word –
Well, well, well…… Alex Hammond doesn’t read our blog…. TBH i’m not surprised, I mean why would she? Typical though that… I mention her & So Beloved goes into her SB Double of the day! Ah well, we did have a few winner’s in here yesterday – The Revenant(11/2) Herecomesthesun (11/1) & Hot Chocolate(5/1) so not all bad really….. Let’s see what around today –
Merlin Magic(Ascot 2.40) looks to shake off the maiden tag & get a win for sire Camelot, but is up against, not 1 but TWO Frankel Colts – Herculean & Wadilsafa. While at Kempton in the evening Charlie Appleby gives a debut to Dawn Approach Colt – Tabernas(6.20) & Poetic Charm can build on his 5th in the Group 3 Sweet Solera at Newmarket(7.50)
That’s it from me today….. Catch them before they go!
