Welcome to Arseonlineracing…..

What a brilliant March we had on site, our views were the highest we had EVER received in a single month. Our previous highest monthly views was recorded in June 2020 at 5,813, we would have been very happy to pass this figure but to SMASH it completely is outstanding.
We ended March 2021 with a staggering 7,776 views from the 31 days & our yearly total, when writing this at 5.30pm on Thursday teatime stands at 17,262 & which is over half of the 33,151 we received in the whole of 2020.

For a small independent racing website like ours to have this many views, is unbelievable & we would like to thank every single one of you, who has supported us in the past 4 or 5 years. To everyone who has given us an interview, RTd, read our stuff, dropped us a message or quite frankly popped on our site for a quick look…. THANK YOU.

Anyway back to the task in hand & the All Weather Championships at Lingfield. This meeting is the closer for the All Weather season & the flat is very soon to be back.

Lingfield 2.00 Betway All-weather Marathon Championships Conditions Stakes Class 2 over 1m 7f 169y

Selection – Rainbow Dreamer – Has won 10 times from 32 career starts, has won 6 times from 10 attempts on the all-weather, including when winning last time out at Kempton when beating Ocean Wind by 1/2 a length on the 6th of February. Biggest dangers come in the shape of Ranch Hand who won last time out at Chelmsford and Amtiyaz who also won last time out at Kempton.

Newcastle 4.00

Selection – Defined – Has had 6 career starts winning once and placing 3 times. Won on latest start at Kempton on the 6th of February when beating Royal Touch by 4 and 1/4 lengths. Showed a great attitude for that victory and with normal progress should turn In another good performance today, main danger comes in the shape of Glen Again who won last time out after posting runner up slots in previous two runs from only 3 career starts.

Newcastle 5.30 Heed Your Hunch At Betway Handicap over 5f

Selection – Buniann – Has won 4 times on the all-weather and all are over Course and distance. Won the Betway Casino Handicap on the 5th of March when beating Mondammej by 1/2 a length. Main danger comes in the shape of Kind Review who has two wins and two places from last 4 runs.

3:10 – AW Sprint Championships Final – Selection: Summerghand

A dozen top all weather sprinters line up with Irish raider Harry’s Bar heading the market and I can see why people have latched onto him. Under these conditions and with a strongly run race likely I think Summerghand could finally have a race run to suit his racing style. David O’Meara’s 7yo has been a model of consistency and looks set for another big run today. The key to Summerghand’s chances largely hinge on a fast pace to aim at and that does look likely today. Lingfield is a great track for hold up horses and at a decent price Summerghand could be well worth siding with. He stayed on well over the same trip last Saturday at Doncaster in a race that could be considered better than this contest today. Tone The Barone could sneak into a place at a double figure price.

4:00 – Labrokes Class 4 Handicap (3YO) – Selection: Defined

The step up to a mile and a half finally seen Defined get off the mark at the sixth attempt at Kempton in February, where he was a decisive victor. Defined is a well bred Colt being by Golden Horn out of the Group placed Criteria. The penny has finally began to drop for Defined recently and he meets his Chelmsford conqueror Glen Again for the second time. There was a ¾ length gap between the two at Chelmsford over 1m 2f but Defined was finishing the better and this longer trip may well see him overturn that form. Especially at Newcastle which has a stiff finish. The Gosden stable is firing on all cylinders and Defined has a big chance of registering back to back wins.

4:45 – All Weather Mile Championships Stakes – Selection: Silver Quartz

This looks in my opinion to be the strongest race on today’s card at Lingfield. Khuzaam & Mums Tipple holds leading claims but at an attractive price French raider Silver Quartz could upset the apple cart. He hasn’t been drawn well in stall 10 but I am hoping that they will go a good clip and Silver Quartz can rattle home under Hollie Doyle. I’d imagine that Mums Tipple will be ridden for a turn of foot as well. Francis Graffhard’s charge is a very smart animal with a 7 length fourth to Dubai World Cup placed Magny Cours and Persian King at Chantilly last June being a standout piece of form. At his current price ** I believe he is a cracking each way bet. French raiders have done reasonably well at this meeting and Silver Quartz has won his last two races at this sort of level.

Each way advised.
