Charlie had a day away due to technical issues so it was left to Rich with his Final Word.. Lets see how we got on….

Ayr 3.35 – Court Dreaming -Has 2 wins and 2 places from last 5 starts, wins came at Perth over 2m 4f in a Class 4 Novice Hurdle back on the 23rd July 2018. Was then sent back to Perth on the  15th July 2018and finished 4th over 2m 4f in another Class 4 Novice Hurdle. Next up was a trip to Hexham over 2m 4f in a Class 3 Handicap Hurdle. Next up was a trip to Hexam when winning again over 2m 5f in a Class 4 Handicap Hurdle. Latest run was here when making return to action and finished 3rd in a Class 3 Handicap Hurdle over 2m 4f. Steps up in trip to 3m and 70y and if handling the extra yardage could gain compensation in this race.

Wetherby 3.55 Zodiakos -Has placed 4 times in last 5 runs,latest 2nd came at Hamilton over 1m in a Class 5 Handicap two days ago. If this race hasn’t come around too soon could easily go one place better here.

Wetherby 5.25 Mr Coco Bean -Has 2 wins and two 3rd places from last 5 runs. Wins came in Class 5 handicaps at Southwell over 1m and then next time out at Redcar over 1m 2f has only been raised 3lb for that and could easily go on again here.

Thanks Charlie, (Insert good/bad day) yesterday. Today I have 3 from Wetherby & 2 from Wolverhampton….

1.50 Novice Stakes… Class 5… 1m 2f…

GOLD STICK…. Dubawi colt who was 5th on race course debut at Newbury on April the 13th in a 1m Class 4 Maiden. Finished 19 lengths behind winner Raise You, with 3rd & 4th both since winning next time out. Up in trip……

2.20 Novice Stakes… Class 5… 7f 

FRANZ KAFTA…. Has finished runner up on both starts this season having been beaten by 1 & 1/2 lengths by Fox Champion in a Doncaster 7f Class 5 Novice Stakes, who has won next time out & narrowly beaten last time out on April 18th in a Newmarket 7f Maiden by a head… Will it be third time lucky?

3.55 Handicap… Class 5… 1m

OCALA….. Yet to enter the winners enclosure yet after 4 runs after finishing 2-3-2 and was a 13 length 3rd again on April 4th in a 1m Class 5 Novice Stakes. That was the first run for 349 days and now makes handicap debut from an opening mark of  77. Carries top weight & is top rated….

Wolverhampton (All Weather) – Standard….

7.30 Handicap… Class 4… 1m 1f 104yds…

BADENSCOFT… Has won the last 2 runs over C&D by 2 & 3/4 lengths before winning again in a Class 5 Handicap on April 5th by 3 lengths. Runs under a penalty….

8.30 Maiden… Class 5… 1m 142yds..

Bardo Contiguo – Lope De Vega colt for Roger Varian, Dawaaween – Poets Voice colt for Owen Burrows and Noncalance – Dubawi filly for John Gosden ALL make race course debut.

They are taking on Tempus, Kingman colt who on race course debut was beaten by a head from Star Safari 209 days ago at Nottingham in a Class 4 Maiden and makes seasonal return and Fabulist, Dubawi filly ran 5th on race course debut back in December before a seasonal reappearance at Newbury, when finishing a 5 & 3/4 3rd in a 1m 2f Class 6 Maiden on April 12th
