Kupatana 🌟🌟-Was 4th in a Class 4 Novice Hurdle at Newbury over 2m 5f on the 17th January. Was then sent to Lingfield on the 5th March to contest a Class 4 Maiden Hurdle over 2m 3f and won beating Pull Together by 3 lengths. Just 17 days later Kupatana was sent to Chepstow to contest another Class 4 Novice Hurdle dropping in distance to 2m and finished 2nd some 3 and 1/4 lengths behind Dino’s Benefit. Latest run was at Aintree on the 18th of May in a Class 4 Handicap Hurdle over 2m 4f and won beating Passing Call by 1 and 3/4 lengths. Has shown some promise in all races thus far and makes Chase debut today for Nicky Henderson and a bold run is anticipated. Was 15-8 when selected last night although is now around 7-4

Win Advised

Versifier 🌟-Was 2nd at Newton Abbot over 2m 1f on the 21st August in a Class 5 Handicap Hurdle beaten by a 1/2 length by Hoponandsee. Next race was at  Stratford in another Class 5 Handicap Hurdle over 2m 3f and finished 5th some 17+ lengths behind the winner Kristal Heart. On the 16th October Versifier returned to the track and was sent to Hereford to contest a Class 4 Handicap Hurdle over 2m 4f and won beating All Hands On Deck by 8 length, has been raised 9lb for that win and if in same mood as last time could easily go in again although consistency isn’t a strong point. Was 4-1 last night when selected but is now 3-1

Win Advised

Rain In Spain 🌟🌟-Won at Clonmel in September over 2m in a Handicap Hurdle, beating Dontdooddson by a head. Was 6th in both races after at Roscommon over 2m and Downpatrick over 2m 3f. Has been raised 4lb for that win and jock R A Doyle takes 5lbs off and even though is racing over an extra 2f could go in again if in same mood. Was 11-4 last night when selected and is now 6-4

Well that’s my thoughts on today’s selections, good luck if following and please remember to keep stakes small so it doesn’t hurt your pocket. All prices were correct at time of publishing on bet365. I will now hand you back over to Rich for the Final Word.

Final Word with Rich –

Thanks Charlie, it was a tough day all round yesterday. Acey Milan is one I like very much and it was an encouraging Hurdle debut and I think he will come on for that run & the experience…. I am sticking with National Hunt racing today, despite the All Weather card at Southwell, so let’s crack on….

Kempton… Good to Soft..

12.45 Novice Hurdle.. Class 4.. 2m..

Epatante is a 4YO No Risk at All Filly for Nicky Henderson. JP. McManus owned and has been brought over from France, having won 2 out of 3 Bumpers. UK debut..

2.55 Handicap Hurdle.. Class 2.. 2m 5f..

Potterman is two from two over hurdles in 2018, although has not been seen since winning a Class 4 Novice Hurdle over 2m 4f at Bangor, in a match race in June. Up in class & returns after 160 days away….

Carlisle… Good to Soft..

1.30 Novice Chase.. Class 3..

Vinndication was 4 from 4 last season, winning a NH Bumper and 3 hurdle races. Last seen landing a 2m 3f Class 1Listed hurdle for Kim Bailey by 3 & 1/4 lengths. Returns after 277 days away and makes chase debut…

2.35..Graduation Chase.. Class 2.. 1m 8f..

One for Billy Was running a very good race last time out at Cheltenham on October 26th, when running out in the closing stages. Dan Skelton will be hoping for the 3rd chase win after 3 runner up spots and 2 wins from the 6 Chase starts….

That all for today folks, thanks for your continued support….

All the Best – Charlie & Rich
