Wolverhampton Racecourse

Hello and welcome to arseonlinetips. For those of you who read our blogs, you know the score… If you are new… A 100% independent racing blog brought to you from either end of the British Isles. Charlie hails from Glasgow & Rich is from the isle of Wight. WE have no gimmicks, just racing….

Charlie will lead the string out and Rich will have the Final Word…. So lets get to the track!

Impulsive American – Normally seen over hurdles or fences, although has won on the flat in the past. Won off this mark at Ayr on the flat over 2m 1f back in 2016 making it 3 wins from 4 runs in this sphere. Most recently was 2nd over 3m at Perth in a Class 4 handicap hurdle , that was his 2nd run back from a lengthy break and looks very interesting here and gets my 3b selection today.

Win Advised

Timespan – looked progressive with each of its 3 runs so far, was 3rd on debut at Windsor over 1m 2f in June. Next race was in July at Ripon over 1m and Timespan was 2nd on that occasion. Was then sent to Wolverhampton in August and won over 1m 1f beating Rawdaa by 1 and 1/2 lengths. With normal progress should be in the thick of it here  come the business end of race and is today’s Nb.

Win Advised

Silver Crescent -Was a tad unlucky to get nabbed close to home at Wolverhampton in May over 1m 4f. Was then sent to Newbury and was 3rd over 1m 2f to Asoof. More recently was sent to Beverley and finished a poor 6th over 1m 4f on the 15th August. Should fair better here back in Maiden company and could be the answer in a tricky race.

Well that’s my thoughts on today’s selections, good luck if following and please remember to keep stakes small so it doesn’t hurt your pocket. I will now hand you back over to Rich for The Final Word.
