Welcome to arseonlinetips, a 100% Independent racing blog brought to you from either end of the British Isles… From Glasgow to the Isle of Wight!.

After a day away, we are back and refreshed from the break. It was for the best, with another hectic Saturday and plenty of racing to look at. In fact, if we are all honest, slightly too much, which could be spread out over the week…. But it’s not and we have what we have… So let’s see if we can get into the Winner’s Enclosure today!

AS usual, Charlie leads them up and Rich follow’s with his Final Word, so we are at the stall’s and starting to load…. Flag is raised, all in….. and were off……

Charlie’s Saturday Selection’s

.Hasn’t been out of the first 3 in last 5 starts and form on fast ground reads 112 coupled with trainer winning this race with his last two runners, this all points to a bold run and visor should help it settle better here than when narrow 2nd last time out at Pontefract when it idled at the start and needed reminders ran on well and was only narrowly beaten by a short head over 1m 4f that day. Currently available at around 3-1 and gets my Nap for today.

Win Advised

.Won last 3 starts at Southwell for the Skelton yard all over 2m 4f, has been raised 9lb and even though had a bit in hand last time, still looks progressive enough to cope with the extra burden here, although In a slightly deeper race today and currently available at around 10-1 gets my 3b here and is a nice price for an Eachway play.

Eachway Advised

.Has 3 wins a 2nd and a 3rd from last 5 runs, the wins have came over 1m 1f to 1m 3f. Aasheq brought home the hat-trick when landing the Cumberland Plate at Carlisle on the 27th June. Wasn’t disgraced last time at Chester when losing by 1/2 length to Rainbow Rebel and is taken to bounce back here upped in trip to 1m 4f to give T Easterby another winner and is my Nb for today and is currently available at 3-1

Win Advised

Rich’s Nap – Newbury – 3.00 Harwood Stakes – Group 3 – 6f

Invincible Army – Drops from Group 1 to Group 3 and is a dual Group 3 winner. Only beaten 4 lengths in the Commonwelth Stakes at Royal Ascot and I think we can forgive one below par run. His form from 2017 reads 2/2/1/2/1/2/4… 13/2

Rich’s Final Word –

Often, this part of the blog can find some winners ,we are hoping add to that today….

Is that likely? Let’s see what we have today as we enter the final furlong…

So we will start at Newmarket, the 2.45 Aphrodite(Fillies’ & Mares’) C1 List 1m 4f…

I was looking through the field and like Worth Waiting for David Lanigan, form is very Nice with 2 wins from 3 runs now steps up from winning a C4 1m 2f Handicap.        Maybe this is a step to far, but the Bated Breath filly deserves a try…..

Undercard of Newmarket Major Partnership(4.35 C5 Novice Stakes 7f) and was Runner up was last seen in April at Kempton(AW), only 1&3/4 lengths on debut, it’s Perhaps now after having wind surgery will help and returns after 94 days away…

Haydock…. and a Tracker at  7.00 Conditions Stakes C3 7f.. Salsabeeel  returns,           Yes after 184 days away and last seen back in January winning a Meydan Handicap by 1 length, having previously finished runner up in Doncasters Flying Scotsman(2016) and in April 2017 was runner up to Beat the Bank in a Newmarket C3, maybe one to note for Charlie Appleby and William Buick!

Over at the Curragh in the evening sun, we have a nice card…

The Friarstown Stakes(4.55) Group 2 7f …. St Patricks Day was a 3/4’s of a length on debut for Aidan O’Brien after joining from Bob Baffert. That run was over 1m in a Listed race and now drops back to 7f … The danger may well come from David O’Meara’s So Beloved, who is a seasoned Group runner, who was a beaten runner up by 1 length in the Criterion at Newmarket on June 30th….

And finally…. 5.30… Irish Oaks(Fillies’) 3YO Only Group 1 1m 4f.… All eyes will be on Magic Wand and Sea of Class. Magic Wand is Aidan O’Brien’s Galileo Filly is 2 wins from her last 4 runs, having won the Cheshire Oaks, she seemingly didn’t like Epsom but won very well by 4 lengths in the Ribblesdale at Royal Ascot… Sea of Class for William Haggas’ is a Sea the Stars Filly, who is 2 wins from 3 season runs, with both wins coming at Newbury, both in Listed Company and both by 2 lengths, latterly on June 14th when landing the Abingdon Stakes. Today she heads to mix it at the top table, with that said… Aidan O’Brien also saddles another Galileo filly, Forever Together, who is back up in trip today after finishing runner up to Urban Fox at this course(1m 2f) in the Pretty Polly Stakes(G1) on July 1st, the form of that race is quite strong with Athena(3rd) winning in Belmont and Turret Rocks(6th) landing the Meld Stakes(G3) at Leopardstown…. Who of these 3 will be victorious??? We will see!

Today’s Trackers –

That is all for today, thank you to everyone, who has made this our most successful year ever…. Long may it continue!  Thanks for popping by today, please remember if you cannot afford to lose DON’T Bet just watch the racing…

All the Best – Charlie & Rich
