Saturday was a day to forget for Rich’s Final Word but Charlie lands another winner, making it 3 winning days in a row from him and just how we like it here at arseonlinetips.

No Charlie today, so it’s all on Rich! Let’s see what we have from France today on a huge day!

Rich’s Nap – Chantilly – 3.45 Hocquart Group 2 Stakes – 3yo Only – 1m 4f

Pharrell – Two wins from 3 runs last season & made a winning return at Longchamp to land the 1m 2f Group 3 Noailles by a head in April and now steps up an extra 2 furlongs – 7/2 PP

Sunday’s Tracker –

Brian the Snail was one I liked last season, for many reason’s it has not worked out for him after being purchased by Godolphin. Second run after wind surgery, deserves a chance….

Killiney Court – Improving chaser, back over hurdles, mark lower, one to consider

Rich’s Final Word – Chantilly Special

There is a fantastic day in store at Chantilly, with the highlight of the day being the Prix De Diane at 3.05, more on that shortly but first I will start with yesterday…

I am disappointed with the way the horses ran, i’m not sure if they were actually ever really put in the race to be fair, with Koditime a big disappointment… Melodic Motion had only finished Unplaced once and that was on debut, but yesterday finished last, now that is a shocker. Although Salt Whistle Bay was up two classes I expected better than I got. It’s not pocket talk, it’s just my view of the races and fair play to the winners. It’s not very often I comment on stuff like that on this blog, so take that however you want!

Right, chin up, game face on…

Chantilly …. Ryan Moore heads over to ride Wind Chimes(2.05) before his mount on Happily in the Diane. Wind Chimes is owned by Magner, Smith and Tabor. Trained by Andre Fabre and finished a 3 length 5th on seasonal return when stepped up to 1m in the La Grottle Group 3 before finishing a 1/4 length 3rd to Tepal in the French 1,000 Guineas. A winner at Chantilly last season over 7f, the Mastercraftsman filly will be hoping to land her first win of the season in the Paul De Moussac Group 3.

Now the Big race of the card, Prix De Diane(3.05) Group 1, 3yo Only over 1m 2f... While Aidan O’Brien sends Happily, who was 3rd in both the English and Irish 1,000 Guineas and Shahnaza steps up from Listed company to Group and has Christophe Soumilion on board. Prix Saint Alary winner Laurens will be looking to make it two on the bounce having won by a short head after finishing 2nd in the English 1,000 Guineas but I like the look of With You, who was making seasonal return in the Prix Saint Alary and was stepping up in trip, when pushing Laurens all the way, with a short head the difference. Already a Group 3 winner at Deauville when landing the Des Reservoirs in October and should improve for the run…..

That’s all for today folks, the last interview will be posted at 7pm this evening & it’s a Group winning trainer!

All the Best – Charlie & Rich
