So after a few days away, we are back and are all set to rock n roll…. Are you ready??
Welcome to arseonlinetips, a 100% Independent blog from Charlie & Rich. Charlie will bring you his Wednesday selection’s while Rich always has the Final Word! So lets get ready to Rock…..
Right About Now – Carries a bit of a risk although it won here by 4 lengths last time out with a 3lb claimer on board, has gone up 6lbs for that win and has another claimer on board today taking a handy 7lbs off making it more attractive, even though it’s stepping up in trip another bold run can’t be discounted here.
Mont Kinabalu – Has won last two races including here in a Class 3 handicap over 1m, and has placed 3rd on race prior to those wins at Chelmsford. With normal progression could easily go in again as is only 1 lb heavier for that win here last month.
Hermosita -Has won twice and placed 3rd in between those victories, the wins came over 6f at Yarmouth and 7f at Redcar. The 3rd place was at Wolverhampton over 6f. The form of latest win at Redcar has been boosted as runner up Prides Gold won by a wide margin next time out. Although Hermosita hasn’t won on the all weather as yet the form looks solid and if taking to the surface at Chelmsford could easily outclass this field.
Well that’s my thoughts on today’s selections, good luck if following and please remember to keep stakes small so it doesn’t hurt your pocket. I will now hand you over to Rich for The Final Word.
Rich’s Final Word –
Firstly, thank you all for your kind words regarding our last two interviews with Shane Prendergast & Dave Yates, we have been amazed by the figures and the reaction…. Earlier this week, this site reached over 10,000 views for the year and it’s only June, that is unbelievable and we are truly humbled by the response to what we are doing on this site, so a big thank you to everyone….
Enough now Rich, what about the runners today??? I found 3 that I am interested in… 2 from Haydock & 1 at Chelmsford… so let’s Roll….
Up in the North West, at Haydock Park, the 3 year old 1m Novice Stakes at 3.10 there is a nice Sea the Stars colt, Mount Ararat makes his second start. The colt finished 3rd on debut at Newcastle(AW) over 1m 2f and was only beaten 1 & 1/2 lengths by Celestial Force, with the front 3, some 5 lengths ahead of the rest and now makes his turf debut dropping back 2 furlongs…..
Another I like is Richard Hannon’s Maypole, who runs in the Class 3 Handicap over 1m at 3.40. Runner up on seasonal return before landing a 1m Chepstow Novice Stakes on May 15th by 1 & 1/4 lengths. Followed that up with a 3/4’s of a length win at Wolverhampton, when making handicap debut beating a next time out winner Epaulement, runs under a penalty….
And finally on the All Weather at Chelmsford, there is a really interesting Class 2 Handicap over 5f at 4.20. Udontdodou has been a runner up on the last two runs. both over 6f at Kempton(AW) and last time out at Windsor. Now dropping back to 5f and returns to a course, where the Fastnet Rock gelding is 4 wins from 5 runs and 2 from 2 over Course & Distance. Won when last at this track & trip, in a Class 2 handicap by 3/4’s of a length from Boom the Groom…
That is all folks…. As previously mentioned a big THANK YOU for reading our blog, interviews & articles
All the Best – Charlie & Rich
