Lingfield Turf

Saturday, Saturday…… Saturday night’s alright! Well to be honest, the daytime racing isn’t to bad either! Ascot has some fine races including a Listed contest and Lingfield host a Derby Trail, plus about 6 or 7 other cards including a Graded race at Haydock over the jumps….. But you all should know by now, what you see is exactly what you get from US here at arseonlinetips.

Today sadly we have had some technical  issues and we cannot bring you Charlie’s Saturday Selection’s but we do have  Rich’s Final Word. So let’s get this blog underway a

Rich’s Final Word –

I have started trying to be more selective with what I mention in here, quality not quantity and I think it’s starting to pay off, with the notes from the maiden at Ascot yesterday finishing 2nd & 3rd, have headed straight into the NOTEBOOK as i though and I think the winner will be added too.

The return of Dreamfield from the serious injury after almost 2 years away was fantastic, winning on return and looks every inch a Group Horse and one to look forward to keeping tab’s on this season. I also think Society Rock is a colt going places and it would not surprise me to see him picking up a lot of races this year and breaking into the Group scene…

So let’s crack on with today’s thoughts…..

Barsanti (Ascot 2.50) makes seasonal return in the Buckhound Stakes 1m 4f (Class 1 Listed) finished last season with as Runner up to Rare Rhythm in York’s Silver Cup, having finished 2nd to Idaho in the Hardwick over C/D in June and trainer Roger Varian will be hoping to get off to a winning start….. WINNER

Now on to the Derby Trial(2.30) at Lingfield, a Group 3 race over 1m 3f 133y for 3 year olds only. I really like Knight to Behold. The Sea the Stars colt was runner up on race course debut to White Mocha(Runner up to Masar in the Craven) last September before going to Newmarket to land a 1m Class 4 Novice Stakes by a neck from Bow Street. Steps up in trip on seasonal return is and held in high regard by Mr Dunlop…. WINNER

And Finally….. Tajannus(3.40) will be hoping to come on for her seasonal return when landing the runner up spot in the Fred Darling(Group 3) at Newbury last month and take this Chartwell Fillies’ Stakes 7f Group 3 contest. Having won two 7f races last season including Newmarket’s Group 3 Sweet Solera Stakes, she should be spot on for this….. 3rd of 7 & Unplaced

That’s all for today folks….. Thanks for popping in and we hope you are all enjoying what we do…..

All the Best – Charlie & Rich
