With the weather playing havoc recently with one thing or another causing the cancelling of meetings, and the changes to going mid meeting for most of remaining fixtures made the job of finding something decent a touch more harder, so both myself and Rich decided to wait until things settled down before putting anything out, I have a few I like for tomorrow but Rich won’t have anything until he’s 100% happy but should be back hopefully for the weekend. That’s enough about that let’s crack on with my 3 selections and one for the notebook.

Charlie’s Selections

Has won twice and placed 2nd twice from last 5 runs, both wins came at Wolverhampton over this trip. Spencer takes over the reigns today and another bold display looks likely even though it’s now 3lb higher.

Is a debutant that caught my eye, due to breeding, out of Excelebration and Lulawin. Is also closely related to Excellent Art and looks the one they have to beat in this small field race.

Won on Chase debut at Sedgefield back in November last year, latest 2nd at Leicester was after a short break, even though it’s now 4lb higher it can get involved here normal cheekpieces removed and replaced by Blinkers for today’s race. The change of headgear could be the answer in another small field race that doesn’t look too deep in quality.

Well that’s my 3 selections out of the way, it’s now time to give you the one for your Notebook.

Notebook

Market Rasen 5.10

Dorking Boy -Makes debut for trainer Tom Lacey. Out of Schiaparelli and Megasue, closely related to Ballyandy and Megastar, Richard Johnson takes the ride and could be one to keep an eye on.

Well that’s my lot for today, please remember to keep stakes small so it doesn’t hurt your pocket and hopefully end the day with a winner of two.

Good Luck Charlie and Rich
