Welcome along to day 3 of our Cheltenham blog. Day Two went well for Charlie and he is first up with his review of yesterday…..

Charlie – Cheers Rich let’s crack on with a look back at Wednesday’s performance.

William Henry –Was 4th

Tiger Roll – Won as expected advised at 7-1

Carefully Selected – was 2nd Advised at 10-1

Another good day with all 3 selections hitting the frame landing my Eachway treble in the process. Hopefully get more of the same from Thursday’s selections listed below.

Charlie’s Selections

1.30 – Terrefort -Has 3 wins and has placed 3rd twice from last 5 runs, trained by Nicky Henderson Terrefort has been sensational since coming over from France winning both UK starts so far.Has won on heavy in France and should be in the mix here if taking to Cheltenham and at 4-1 is a win price.

2.10 Protek De Flos -Another from the Henderson yard who won on heavy going 2 starts back at Wincanton. Is lightly raced for a 6yo and could sneak a place at a nice price of 20-1

3.30 Supasundae -Has won at Cheltenham previously being the winner of last year’s Coral Cup, has placed 2nd twice over 3m and should be thereabouts today at 7-1

4.10 Kings Socks -Had decent form over in France and placed 3rd in sole UK start at Kempton over 2m 4f for D Pipe. Looks interesting here and at 7-1 should be thereabouts again.

Well that’s my thoughts on Thursday’s racing from Cheltenham, Good luck if following and please remember to keep stakes small so it doesn’t hurt your pocket. I will hand you over to Rich for his selections for Thursday and a recap of Wednesday’s results.

Rich – Samcro(Won) Monalee(Runner Up) Altior(Won) Mitchouka(Hampered and Unplaced) & Acey Milan (4th, some bookies paid 4 or 5)

With that out the way let’s get down to Day 3 and see what we have in store for you…

Rich’s Selections – I only have 3 today so I will crack on….

Shattered Love in the 1.30 JLT Chase, who has 4 wins from the last 5 runs including a Grade 3 over 2m at Cork by 10 lengths and last time out on December 29thwhen landing a Grade 1 Leopardstown 3m chase by 1 & 3/4 lengths and bids to become the first mare to win this race.

Like Yesterday with Samcro & Altior I go with Un De Sceaux in the 2.50 Ryanair Chase. Having won this last season and C/D form is important. Won the Clarence House Grade 1 when last seen on January 20th by 7 lengths.

And my final choice is Supersundae in the 3.30 Stayers Hurdle. Last years Coral Cup winner, was a 1/2 length runner up over 3m to Apple’s Jade at Leopardstown before landing a 2m Grade 1 Hurdle on February 3rd from Faugheen.

All the Best

Charlie and Rich
