Diese Des Bieffes – Has 2 wins and a 2nd place from last 3 runs, although latest 2nd came here on Boxing Day over 2m, the extra yardage looks to be favorable and is still progressing and will be in the thick of it come the business end of this race, I fully expect Diese to win this race today and 5-1 is more than generous.

Win Advised

.

Mr Whipped -Bought for 160k after winning Irish point race, has won at Kempton over 2m and Newbury over 2m 4f in Novice hurdles, looks like a decent type for Nicky Henderson and another win here looks likely.

Win Advised

.

Ballyalton -Although missed last season still retains ability having placed 4th in hot races at Cheltenham the last twice, drops in grade for today’s race and 4-1 looks value against a fav who has fallen on last two starts. Hopefully the 3m will around here won’t be as taxing as the two races at Cheltenham, Ian Williams has a 24% strike rate at Kempton and ticks a lot of boxes.

Win Advised

Well that’s my main 3 out the way please remember to keep stakes small so it doesn’t hurt your pocket, I have two that didn’t make selections although they will be mentioned in Final Word, and on that note I will hand you over to Rich for his Final Word.

Final Word –

Rich -It’s possible when writing this that there will be a couple in matching races, but that’s unlucky or Lucky depending on your views, we have different views and they get expressed here….

so I will be starting at Warwick, where Ms Parfios(1.50) is looking for 3 Chase wins on the bounce having landed a Newbury 2m 7f Mares’ Chase last time out which was 5 days after winning at Cheltenham. While Count Meribel(3.00) is returned to a winning distance after finishing runner up at 3m in a Grade 2 at Cheltenham having previously won over 2m 5f at Ascot, which was an 8 length romp.

My final offering is at Kempton, where River Frost runs in the Lanzarote Hurdle(2.40). The C/D from last February prior to finishing 9th at Cheltenham in the Coral Cup. Returned at Chepstow in October to finish 5th in a really competitive Sliver Trophy handicap, which included Sam Spinner(2nd) Wholestone(4th) Louis’ Vac Pouch(6th) Old Guard(7th) to name a few who have all won since!

Charlie– I have 2 that didn’t make selections and these are :-

Warwick 2.25 – Black Ivory – yet to finish out of the top 3 in 11 starts, Has won over 2m 4f at Aintree and has placed 2nd there over 3m. Has been raised 6lb for that win and still looks progressive enough to be involved here.

Kempton 1.30 – Bishop’s Court – Won well on boxing day at Wincanton taking chase record to 5 wins from 10 runs. Was 3rd here over course and distance before that and still looks as though there is more to come.

Please remember only bet what you can afford and if you don’t fancy anything just watch and enjoy the races.

All the best Charlie and Rich
