Monday was a day of rest, yesterday was just the PN and to be honest, it really didn’t justify a blog post, as it was just the choices. Today both Charlie and Myself are back and firing on all barrels….

Right folks…. Here he is ….. Charlie…… What you got for our very nice readers today then mate? You let them know and I will catch you for Final Word –
Cheers Rich, let’s get straight down to Wednesday’s Selections listed below :
Whiskey Chaser -Makes seasonal return and yard are doing reasonably ok at the moment, Was 2nd in final two starts at Uttoxeter and then Newcastle. Stays 3m and today’s trip of 2m 6f and 204y shouldn’t be a problem and should be in the thick of it here.
Koybig -Has a 2nd and two Wins from last 3 runs at Dundalk over this trip, although has a wide draw to overcome looks likely that another win is on the cards.
Latchet -Has finished 4th and 3rd in last two races at Dundalk over 7f and 1m. Return to 1m shouldn’t be a problem and is taken to get off the mark here.
Well that’s my thoughts on my selections for Wednesday, I did have 3 more that didn’t make the cut and they are – Duke Debarry runs in the 3.00 Haydock for Nicky Henderson although was 4th at Kempton last time out, the 3rd placed horse has won since but at 7-4 is too short for a selection. Silk Cravat was left out as Rich had that as a People’s Nap Choice. Finally Sea Story makes debut in the 3.40 at Ludlow trainer is 5/8 at Ludlow with debutants in last 5 years and 5-1 is a fair price.
Good Luck if following and please remember to keep stakes small so it doesn’t hurt your pocket. I will hand you over to Rich for the Final Word.
Final Word –
Middle of the week already and so the weekend will be upon us….. Blimey time is flying already…. Award ceremonies’ galore too…. Congratulations to everybody who won an award this week, sadly we never received an invite OR alternatively, received a nomination!
Speaking of award winners, Flat jockey of the year Frankie Dettori, has a couple of rides at Lingfield today…. Mordin(11.40) who cost 200,000 guineas as a 2YO & makes race course debut and the returning Toast of New York, retired after an injury 3 years ago, after finishing 2nd to Bayern in the Breeders Cup makes a comeback….
Another making a new start is the returning Midnight Jazz(Ludlow 1.30) dropping from Grade 1 to Class 2 for seasonal bow. Although last seen in the Mares’ Hurdle at Cheltenham, finishing runner up to Vroum Vroum Mag, in the Grade 2 Mares’ hurdle at Doncaster was a highlight of last season … A safe return to all.
That’s ya lot folks…..
Remember to only bet what you can afford, if not just watch
All the best – Charlie & Rich
