PN Result(Saturday) – See No Evil – 3rd…..
I will pass you to Charlie with the run through of yesterday and a look ahead to today’s selections. I will catch you for Final Word –
Cheers Rich, we will begin with a look back at Saturday’s results listed below.
Theinval -Finished 3rd and was a loss.
Deeleys Double -Finished 4th and was a loss.
Mixboy -Finished 6th and was another loss.
.Well what can I say about Saturday apart from what a pile of crap as per usual, Saturday’s are starting to annoy the life out of me if I’m honest, anyway enough of that let’s crack on with Sunday’s Selections listed below.
Gold Class -Won a Class 5 handicap at Market Rasen back in July, although failed to build on that win, has shown signs of improvement by finishing 3rd at Stratford last time out. Although is up against Octagon today who is the red hot fav if he has an off day Gold Class could capitalise on it.
Golden Investment -Won last time out in a Class 4 Handicap Chase at Wetherby over 3m, has been raised 7lb for that and could still be involved here if fully switched on.
Forever Gold -Was a winning fav in this race last year, although is now 10lb higher and fell last time out at Punchestown over hurdles, I feel he still has a bit of scope left and if fully recovered from that fall can make his presence felt in a race he has already tasted success in.
.Well that’s my thoughts on Sunday’s selections, Good luck if following and please remember to keep stakes small so it doesn’t hurt your pocket. I will hand you back over to Rich for the Final Word.
Final Word –
We will start at Fairyhouse, as I still have TWO more from there, Death Duty(2.35) is a chaser on the up, winning both Chase starts this season after switching from hurdles, already a Grade 3 winner on only second start and can add this Grade 1 to his tally, while another hurdler, who has made a promising start to a chase career is Presenting Percy(3.10) who won on chase debut and finished 3rd last time out and could well build on that start.
Leicester is the venue for another I have mentioned either in the PN choices or in Final Word, The Butcher Said(12.40) who made UK, NH Flat race debut for new connections just 3 weeks ago and is sent over hurdles and up in trip by 4 furlongs, which is expected to help and bring out further improvement.
And finally at Carlisle, Golden Investment(2.25) won by 1 & 3/4 lengths on seasonal return to earn a place in the Stayers Chase final today, after a string of Runner Up spots last season. Another Final taking place today is the Middle Distance Chase, which see’s Forest Des Aigles(3.30) looking to make it 3 wins from the last 5, having won at Hexham on season return by 3 & 3/4 lengths in early October……
Thanks for popping by folks
Remember to only bet what you can afford, if not just watch.
All the Best – Charlie & Rich
