With Counter Shy(PN choices winner) a NON Runner, I declared to vote void. We have a mixed PN Choice today…. 2 flat choices from Newmarket & 1 National Hunt choice from Newton Abbot…. So here we go!

Peoples Nap Choices

Newmarket – Good

1.50 – Cornwallis Stakes – Group 3 Class 1 – 2YO Only – 5f

Sound and Silence – 4 time winner this season, including over C/D on debut back in April, beaten 1/2 a length in a Chantilly Group 3 after winning a York Listed race by 1/2 a length, wearing a tongue tie(refitted again today) before taking a Maison-Latfille Group 3 6f contest by 3 lengths. Drops back to 5f today – 9/4

2.25 – Fillies’ Group 3 Class 1 – 2YO Only – 7f

Gatova – Won both starts, here over C/D & at Lingfield in a class 5 over 7f before stepping up in grade when 3rd over C/D in the Fillies’ Group 2 Rockfell Stakes, not getting a clear run & finishing 1 & 1/2 lengths behind the winner. Reunited with James Doyle, who was on board for 1st two runs – 3/1

Newton Abbot – Good

3.45 – Intermediate Chase – Class 2 – 2m 5f

Flying Angel – Grade 1 novice chase winner at Aintree back in April, winning by 1 length from Cloudy Dream, pulled up just 14 days later at Ayr. Has won on debut, last terms season return & again after a short break, so goes very well fresh – 2/1

PN Result(Thursday) – Counter Shy – Non Runner – Void

Here is Charlie with a round up of his Thursday Titbits & a look ahead to todays selections….. We have a Head 2 Head next before Final Word, so will catch you there…

Cheers Rich, let’s start with Thursday’s results :

Mahlermade – was declared a non runner stake returned.

King Of Scotland -was Unplaced and therefore a loss.

California Cliffs -was unplaced and was yet another loss.

Not a good day by any means, with only a non runner to cheer about, hopefully get a better run for my money with Friday’s selections listed below.

I Can Fly -Won readily on debut at Dundalk two weeks ago by 4 length, looks a very nice prospect for Aiden O’Brien and looks the one to beat here. Ryan Moore takes the ride and that is a sign of how highly regarded this horse is as he prefers that to Butterscotch the other O’Brien runner in this race.

Win Advised

Cote Dazur – Won the Hunt Cup at Thirsk in May, but ran poorly since until placing 3rd in the Cambridgeshire at Newmarket last time out. That was first run after being Gelded and if matching that could easily be in the mix again here and at a nice price of 9-1

Eachway Advised

Maid Of Milan -Had decent form over hurdles winning up-to 2m 5f. Has raced over 3m in a point race previously and wasn’t beaten by far. Has been absent from track for almost a year and goes straight into a handicap chase over 3m here and looks very interesting and 13-2 looks a fair price.

Win Advised

.Well that’s my thoughts on Friday’s selections, good luck if following and please remember to keep stakes small so it doesn’t hurt your pocket.

Arseonline Present ……. Charlie & Rich HEAD 2 HEAD –

Newmarket – 3.00 – Challenge Stakes – Group 2 Class 1 – 7f

Rich – Dabyah – Has run 3 times over 7f, winning all 3 including over C/D on debut. Winner of the Newbury Fillies’ Group 3 back in April & was last seen chasing home Winter in the Coronation Stakes at Ascot over 1m, finishing 3 & 1/2 lengths behind the winner. Now drops to Group 2 & back to 7f……

CharlieGifted Master -Ready winner of last two starts, First at Doncaster over 6f, then at Newmarket over 6f. Has won over 1m here before, but was well held in this race last season, although has improved a lot since then has unfinished business in this race and could be the one to be on.

Well that’s our head to head race out the way, let’s see what’s made the final word section situated below.

Final Word

Just a quick round up really, a few missed out as the invariably do when you look at all the cards… So here we go – Let’s start with York & Roundhay Park(2.10) has won twice this term, latterly in a class 5 in a Bath nursery contest over 5f, where there has been 2 next time out winners & now steps up to class 3. While Bolder Bob(3.55) also steps up in class after a last time out win & was ahead of Just In Time( who has won 3 on the bounce since)

There was nothing else from the flat cards, not even Kempton(AW) & Dundalk(AW) in the evening that caught my eye, so we will move swiftly on to Newton Abbot, before I get Beer Goggles(3.10) last seen back in April finishing 2nd to Knight of Noir at Aintree in a class 3 handicap hurdle, the winner & 3rd have won on their season return, while 4th has won 3 times on the flat.

& Finally at Downpatrick(NI) Willie Mullins unleashes a couple, with Debutant Sympa Des Flos(2.15), a recruit from France & makes race course debut & Sois Gentil(2.50) makes hurdle debut after making a winning start in a NH flat race by 1 & 1/2 lengths.

That’s all Folks……

Cheers for reading & Rich will be submitting a couple of selections for Talksport 2’s The Racing Club, on DAB, Saturday 8am -9am, so if your around, could be worth a listen!

Remember only bet what you can afford, if not just watch

All the Best – Charlie & Rich
