The weekend has once again passed us by & we arrive at the start of another week, with the official start of the NH winter season starting on Saturday(yes Saturday) at Chepstow! Today I started preparing for the NH season & the winter AW season, by removing some of my trackers & adding some I liked, reinstating some for NH & AW… Many will be added during the coming weeks & months I am sure! Anyway enough of my drivel, lets get down to business –

Cheers Rich, we will kick things off with Sunday’s Results :

Alpha Des Obeaux -was 2nd and is a loss.

Gustavus Vassa -was tailed off and is a loss.

Mash Potato -was 3rd and is a loss.

Not the day I had planned, with all 3 selections losing. There is no jumps racing on Monday so there’s nothing from me there.I will pass you over to Rich for his final word.

Final Word

Sad day on Sunday to lose the super talented Mega Fortune in the opener  at Limerick, thoughts are with connections & all staff who cared for him….

I only have a short Final word today, so I will get on with it!

It’s all Flat cards today… So I will start at Pontefract, where The Grape Escape(2.55) is looking for back to back wins, having won by a head last time form Sharja Bridge at Sandown, the front two were 3 lengths clear of 3rd& Sean Levey is again on board. Pioneering(3.55) is on hatrick, having won the last two outings, last time by 2 lengths & the 3rd that day has since won too.

Paul Nicholls sends a runner to Salisbury, Moabit(5.05) a C/D winner back in July in a class 5 handicap & a good 2nd last time out at Ffos Las to Sternrubin over today’s distance.

That is your lot today folks, remember if you follow, bet only what you can afford…. if not just watch!

All the best – Charlie & Rich
