PN Result(Wednesday) – London Icon – Won – Posted 11/8(which I got) SP 9/10……

Charlie will now take you through his thoughts for today & a wee recap of yesterday’s selections…. Was it a Winnersday? Let’s find out……

Cheers Rich, let’s get straight down to Wednesday’s Results listed below :

Champion Chase – Finished 8th and was a loss.

Abbotswood – Finished 4th and was another loss.

Salto Chisco -Finished 4th and was yet another loss.

.A complete wipeout with all 3 selections losing, not what I wanted at all but that’s racing for you, sometimes races don’t pan out as expected. We move forward and selections for Thursday are listed below.

Charlie’s Selections

Plato’s Kode -Won both starts over hurdles since switching grades, although has lost on the all-weather at Chelmsford since, makes a return to hurdles here and with James Bowen doing the steering who takes a handy 7lb claim off it’s back, can get involved again here and looks the one to beat.

Win Advised

Mille Nautique -Is a previous course and distance winner, won when last seen at Market Rasen in August in a Class 4 handicap chase. Is 5lbs higher than that winning mark but still may have enough scope to get involved here in a similar race.

Win Advised

Blazon -Won an all-weather bumper at Lingfield over 2m before placing 2nd at Huntington in March over 1m 7f. Makes hurdles debut for K Bailey and experienced jock David Bass doing the steering here and could rack up first victory over obstacles.

Win Advised

.well that’s my thoughts on Thursday’s races, good luck if following and please remember to keep stakes small so it doesn’t hurt your pocket. I will pass you back over to Rich for his final word.

Final Word

We have recently had some kinds words sent our way regarding this publication. They will remain private, but suffice to say we are both grateful for those words of encouragement & support, so thank you. It’s always nice to get a couple of winners, yeah I know 9/10 isn’t massive, but it certainly gave me a boost when I was starting to get a touch techy, let’s see what else I noticed for today’s meetings….

There are TWO NH cards today at Warwick(where we will start) & Huntingdon….. Doitforthevillage(2.15) Makes a seasonal return over hurdles, although  the 5 time winning chaser is still a maiden in this sphere, but only ran 4 times before being sent chasing, was last seen in April winning a class 2 novice chase by 1 length at this course & could be one to note for the season ahead, while at 3.20, Sceau Royal, the Grade 2 winning hurdler, makes his chase debut on his season return.

As I mentioned, I have noted ONE at Huntingdon(3.05) Dreamsoftheatre runs in a handicap hurdle, why did I note this your thinking, well…. He last ran in a hurdle contest back in November 2013, almost 4 years ago & reached a top rating of 117 before being sent chasing, having won 4 of his last 6 runs over hurdles. Was 2nd on last chase outing back in August at Market Rasen, beaten by 1/2 a length over 2m 7f, now this is a 3m hurdle race, but returns to this sphere rated 105, which for a once rated 134 chaser, could be worth a watch…

I have Two more left & they are at Chelmsford in the evening … Musical Terms(7.15) Trained by William Haggas for The Queen(yes dear Liz) wasn’t beaten far on the 3 previous starts before winning last time out by 1 & 3/4 lengths & it is likely to go well again, while another Last time out winner Arcadian Sea(8.15) could well go in again after a 1 & 1/2 length C/D win 2 weeks ago…

So that is all for today… Let’s hope we have helped you along the way…

Please remember that, if you follow, only bet what you can afford to lose…. If not just watch….. Thanks for popping by folks

All the best- Charlie & Rich
