Final Word –
I heard a rumour yesterday & I hope it’s true….. That Charlie will be back tomorrow for St Ledger day…. We both like the same horse in the race & I will let Charlie tell you all tomorrow, so no Spoilers from me! Anyway that is Saturday, now back to Friday & the others I found –
Plenty of Flat racing to get your teeth into & at Chester, Nathan(3.25) is looking for a 3rd win on the bounce for Alan King, stepping up to class 3 after a 1 & 1/2 length win at Bath last time, while at Salisbury, you may need your Travelcard(6.05) who is also stepping up in class after a 4 length defeat at Thirsk over 7f, but now drops back to 6f. The form of his 2nd place the previous race was franked on Wednesday at Doncaster.
& finally in Ireland Listowel hold a mixed card & a decent race is at 4.05, where former 160 rated chaser Hidden Cyclone returns to Chasing after 2 runs at Galway. The 2 times Grade 2 chase winner takes on Val de Ferbet, who is making season bow loking to add to the Grade 3 for trainer Andrew McNamara, after beating A Toi Phil by 12 length at Cork in April. Should be a good contest…..
That is all for today folks, be lucky & will soon be time to sink a cold one!
