Over to Charlie for his thought’s –

Cheers Rich, before we move onto Thursday’s Selections I will recap Wednesday’s Performance.

Charlie’s Results

Lord Clenaghcastle – Won as expected Advised at 5-1

Kasperenko – was a non runner stake returned.

Tarboosh – Finished 5th and was a loss.

Nice winner at 5-1 from my 3 selections hopefully get more of the same with Thursday’s Selections listed below.

Charlie’s Selections

aviary-image-1502346382715

Dubawi Prince -Won a Class 5 Maiden at Doncaster over 1m 2f on good to soft ground on the 1st of April. Dissapointed in a Class 3 at Haydock on 21st April and should bounce back in this slightly easier race.

Win Advised

.

Jan Van Eyck – One from my Tracker who was an impressive winner here last time out, giving 15lb to Tarazani and swooping late on from off the pace to take the race. Has been raised 3lb for that win and could go in again if using same tactics here.

Win Advised

.

Angels Acclaim -Was 4th on recent visit to Ayr on handicap debut, was beaten by a dual winner that day. Cheekpieces applied today and that may squeeze a bit of extra progress in this similar race, yard are going ok at the moment and will be expecting a better performance here.

Win Advised

.

Rich’s Final Thought –

Hurrah to the Stewards for sorting out a jockey under the not riding to a finish rules, I think if we see more of this we are more likely to have confidence in them rather than think something dodgy is going on…

I see friend of the Blog Hayley Turner is riding again at the weekend…. No weight advantage this time though, late replacement  I hear… More on that tomorrow….
