Peoples Nap beaten in final strides when travelling very well & no joy for Charlie either…. I have gone back to basic’s if you like…. Lets see how we go…..

3.50 – Rose Bowl Stakes – Class 1 Listed – 6f

Madeline – 3 & 1/2 lengths 5th to Mrs Gallagher on debut over 5f at Ascot, stepped up to 6f & won at Goodwood in a class 4 fillies’ novice contest. 5th in the Albany Stakes(G3 C1) at Ascot by 4 & 1/2 lengths, having Actress(G3 Winner) & Clemmie(G2 & G3 Winner) in behind that day – 13/8

Hamilton – Good

7.55 – Glasgow Stakes – Class 1 Listed – 1m 3f 15y

Defoe – Won on season return in a Class 2 over 1m 2f at Newbury by 1 & 1/4 lengths before a 1/2 length win last time out at York, again in a class 2 handicap, up in class – 13/8

Newmarket – Good to Soft

8.15 – Fillies’ Maiden – Class 4 – 1m

Song Maker – Beaten a neck on final 2YO start by Group 3 winner Shutter Speed in a fillies’ maiden at Yarmouth, the pair were 3 lengths clear of the field which included Listed winner Hertford Dancer, makes season return in 1st time cheek pieces – 2/1

PN Result(Thursday) – Wingingit – 2nd – lead in the final furlong, but beaten in the last few strides

Le Gros Serpant – Finished last and is a loss.

Poet’s Time – 5th and is another loss.

Metisian – 3rd and is another loss.

Desert Ruler – 2nd and was yet another loss.

Frustrating day with all 4 selections losing, although still in profit for the month so can’t complain. Anyway enough about yesterday let’s get onto Friday’s Selections listed below.
