I will hand over to Charlie now & see you for Final Word –

Charlie’s Results –

Lexington Grace – Could only manage 4th and is a loss.

Bamako Du Chatelet – Was a non runner

Island Drive – Won as expected Advised at 4-1.

Just the one winner again from my 3 selections. It’s becoming a bit of a habit now, hopefully get a better return from Thursday’s Selections.

Charlie’s Selections

.Poetic Steps -Carry’s penalty for debut win at Hamilton last time out, has slight increase in distance here and the extra furlong shouldn’t be an issue.

Win Advised

.

.Flash City – Non Runner

.Omega Springs – Had plateaued out form wise but last two races suggested of a return to form finishing 4th and 2nd in those races has been raised 2lb as a result and could spring a surprise here if handling the extra weight and the extra 2f.

Win Advised

Rich’s Final Word –

We all enjoyed the excitement of Royal Ascot a couple of weeks ago, now the racing heads to Newmarket, on the July Course for some top class Group races & handicaps. There are a few to keep an eye on, especially with the welcome return of Frankie Dettori from Injury, having missed all of Royal Ascot. Aiden O’Brien is a master of winning Group races & although his horse’s seeming to lack form on today’s the card, it would not be a huge surprise to see him land a race or 3 over the weekend.

One of my 5 to follow Brian the Snail returns tomorrow, having had a couple of poor runs since joining Godolphin, I have been told, he had to have a minor operation & is ready to go, with the problem hopefully solved.

Well that’s another busy blog post with plenty to keep you busy until races start. The People’s Nap Vote result will be updated when voting closes. In the meantime please remember to keep stakes small and hopefully end the day with a few winners.

…Good Luck…
