.Kalagia – Won as expected Advised at 9-4
.Archis Affaire – 2nd Was beaten by a head and was another loss.
.Just the one winner again from my 3 selections, but can take positives from the days results as we head into Tuesday’s racing.
Rich has nothing else, except to wish my son Kurt, a happy birthday & happy Independence Day to our friends in the USA! Over to Charlie for his selections –
.Harlequin Rose – Was 2nd last time out at Bath over 5f. Has gone up 3lb as a result of that run but can get involved if repeating that here.
.Munfallet -Past dual course and distance winner last two runs hinted of a return to form. Can’t be discounted on that form.
.Monologue – Has been consistent form wise since winning at Kempton over 1m back in March. Has changed yards now with N P Mulholland and wears first time tongue tie, and can get involved here.
There are 2 French Bred horse’s running today that I’m quite interested in and they are listed below. These aren’t Selections just horses that I find interesting.
Altiepix – Won here in May over 2m 1f but could only manage 3rd over course and Distance last month remains on a workable mark and could go well again here. 7-4
Braqueur D’or – Was a decent 2nd at Newton Abbot last time out and the form of that race has since been franked. Trainer and jock have a combined strike rate of 29% this season. 11-8
Well there you have it another jam packed blog post with plenty to keep you busy until races start. The People’s Nap vote result will be updated when voting closes. In the meantime please remember to keep stakes small and hopefully end the day with a few winners.
