.Stradivarius – 2nd
.Sudski Star – 1st Advised at 2-1
Two winners from my 3 selections today although there was a 0.35p rule 4 on each winner. Still a profitable return for the day and hopefully continue the trend with Thursday’s selections listed below.
Chester 3.00 Via Egnatia 4-1 Win
.Made all in a Maiden over 1m at Newmarket back in October was a respectable 3rd over 7f at same venue in April remains open to further progress and has a plumb draw in stall 1 to attack from the front here and could be hard to beat if given easy lead.
Catterick 3.45 Coronation Day 6-4 Win
.This Filly has 2 wins and has placed 2nd twice from last 5 runs. The first of those wins came at Thirsk over 7f in a class 5 handicap and then at Kempton over same distance in a class 4 handicap. She was then sent to Brighton and was 2nd in a class 4 handicap over 6f. Races over 7f + 6y and the extra distance shouldn’t be a problem and can gain compensation in this race.
Worcester 4.55 Charlie Cook 7-2 Win
.Won when last seen in May 2016 at Worcester in a class 4 handicap hurdle over 2m 4f , has an extra 3f to travel here on comeback with Richard Johnson booked looks like a sign of intent and a bold run can’t be ruled out.
One to Watch – Chester – 4.05 – Maiden – Class 3- 2YO Only – 5f 15y
Dahik – Likely to go off odds on for this race, the Society Rock colt was only beaten by 1/2 a length by Koditime on race course debut in a Class 5 maiden on Good to Firm Going at Doncaster. Roger Varian trained, Jim Crowley is on board for owner Mr Hamdam Al Maktoum – Could be worth tracking him……
Well there you have it another jam packed blog post with plenty to look over before races start. The People’s Nap vote result will be updated when voting closes. In the meantime please remember to keep stakes small and hopefully end the day with a few winners.
