2.30 – Fillies’ Group 3 Class 1 – 3YO Only -7f

Dabyah – Sepoy filly, who won 2 out of 3 starts last season including a Class 2 9 length win over C/D. 3rd when last seen at Chantilly in the Prix Marcel Boussac Group 1 fillies’ race . Makes seasonal return fro Trainer John Gosden & has Frankie Dettori on board – 11/8

3.05 – Greenham Stakes – Group 3 Class 1 – 7f

Dream Castle – Won impressively under today’s rider, Oisin Murphy, with a hands & heels ride on debut at Doncaster on April 2nd. Won going away by 3 & 1/2 lengths. Frankel Colt, out of Sand Vixen(Dubawi) & trained by S.Bin Suroor – 10/3

A few of interest for Saturday Evening…..

Newbury – 5.55 – Handicap – Class 3 – 1m 2f 6y

Signe – Sea the Stars Filly, unbeaten in 2 AW runs, both at Newcastle . Won by 1/2 a length over 1m on Debut & then followed up with a 1& 3/4 length victory in a C5 handicap. Makes Turf debut for trainer William Haggas

Nottingham – Good to Firm

7.30 – Handicap – Class 4 – 1m 75y

Roller – Winner on 1st turf start at Redcar 5 days ago, won by 2 lengths & put out quickly under a penalty

Wolverhampton – AW – Standard

6.45 – Handicap – Class 5 – 5f 20y

Kiringa – C/D winner back in September by 3 lengths. AW form reads over 5f – 4 3 3 1 2 – Last seen in October finishing a 2 & 1/2 length 2nd to Waneen at Chelmsford. Makes return after 182 days away from the track.

Nice to get the PN winner, shame about the DH & 50% deduction… But that’s racing…. Looks a cracking card at Newbury & also at Ayr for the Scottish Grand National. Good Luck if you have a Punt…. Let us know if your Lucky…. Cheers Rich
