Peoples Nap(Saturday) – Rock of America – 2nd…..

.Charlie’s Results

.Nimr – Held up at the rear and found nothing when asked 3f out and was a loss.

.Silverhow – Held up by Nico in midfield before chasing leader 2 from home closed down after the last but had to settle for 2nd beaten a length by Classic Tune who was 66-1 and is another loss.

.Pull The Cord – Had every chance until blundering the last settled for 2nd some 14 length behind eventual winner Some Buckle and is another loss.

.A frustrating day with all 3 of my selections losing although two 2nds wasn’t enough for profit is still a positive to take onto Sunday.

.Charlie’s Sunday Selections

Cork 2.05

Gymkhana 7-2 -French purchase for 21,000gns made UK debut last Sunday at Naas over this trip on soft to heavy ground for Ger Lyons .Showed a great turn of foot to win and if in same mood in this slightly tougher race could be the one to be on.

Win Advised

Fairyhouse 3.30

Bleu Berry 11-4 – Has won last 2 races since returning from almost a year off the track. Has displayed some sloppy jumping in both races he has won but should still have the ability to see off this field with a better round of jumping.

Win Advised

Ascot 3.40

Ardmayle 9-2 – Has won last 2 chases first at Leicester over 2m 4f on heavy ground then at Lingfield over 2m on soft ground ,both times he won with plenty in hand is 12lb higher than he was for first of those wins, but could still have further progress if handling the extra weight.
