Thursday’s Results

PN Result(Thursday) – Uknowhatimeanharry – Placed 3rd & was well beaten on the day.

Charlie’s Results

.Impulsive Star – finished 4th last and is a loss

.Un De Sceaux – Won as expected advised at 5-2

.Airlie Beach – seemed to be travelling well until fading badly after the last and is another loss.

.Well Cheltenham hasn’t been kind to me this year with only one winner from 9 selections, so I’m drawing a line under it and moving away from Cheltenham tomorrow on my search for winners.

Best of the rest – Lingfield – AW – Standard

2.25 – Maiden – Class 5 – 1m 4f

Here And Now – Fran Berry is easing back from injury & prepping for new season, back riding Here & Now, who was 2nd on debut over 1m 3f at Kempton last month, only beaten by a neck, this Dansili colt should have enough improvement to win

3.05 – Handicap – Class 3 – 1m 4f

Petite Jack – 2nd in this class at Newcastle over this distance last time out beaten only 3/4’s of a length, has a cracking record at Lingfield. I s2 out 2 over C/D & 4 out of 4 course runs

& Finally …..

3.45 – Maiden – Class 5 – 1m 1y

Bless Him – Sea the Stars Colt trained by David Simcock for  Qatar Racing, who cost 600,000 euros as a 2 year old, makes debut & could be 1 to keep an eye on in the future

Charlie’s Selections

1.45  Gold Flash  5-2

.Dual winner over this trip at Wolverhampton back in January and a recent 2nd there latest over 1m handles polytrack and looks the one to be on here.

Win Advised

4.40 Beeves  11-2

.Has won a couple of handicap chases over 3m is only 1 lb higher than last win mark and could be the answer in this wide open race main danger is Finger on the switch but I feel there isn’t much to separate the pair on bare form so iv sided with Jenny Candish’s Beeves as the 11-2 looks generous.

Win Advised

5.45 Toy Theatre  5-2

.Recently purchased from Mark Johnston by M Appleby for 1,800GBP won on debut in February over 7f at Chelmsford and was 2nd at same venue 21 days later over same distance. S De Sousa on board and should be involved at the business end.

Win AdvAdvised
