3.30 – Champion Hurdle – Grade 1 Class 1 – 2m 87y
Yanworth – Only beaten one by Yorkhill, has a cracking record of 5 wins from last 6 runs, all over this distance, has won 8 class 1 races to date. Won last time out at Wincanton when beating Ch’tibello in 1st time cheek pieces(retained today) by a length. Mark Walsh takes the ride due to Barry Geraghty’s injury – 11/4
4.10 – Mares’ Hurdle – Grade 1 Class 1 – 2m 3f 200y
Limini -Course winner from festival last season winning a grade 2 Class 1 Mares’ race. Has a Hurdle record of 4 wins from 6 runs, is a distance winner, has won 3 Class 1 races & Ruby Walsh prefers Limini to Stable mate Vroom Vroom Mag. Won last time out in a Class 1 Listed contest at Punchestown by 2 lengths from Apples Jade – 13/8

1.20 – Handicap Hurdle – Class 4 – 2m 3f 188y
Ask Paddy – A huge win last time out(16 Lengths) has forced Paddy up in class, having won his last 2 on the spin & going up a massive 18Lb, he faces re opposing Lochalsh who was the distant 16L behind LTO, this does not look a hard race…… Famous last words but I see Paddy taking the win despite the huge rise in weights & completing the hatrick
3.55 – Handicap Hurdle – Class 4 – 2m 178y
Dark And dangerous – The term Horses for Course’s could be readily used for this horse, with 4 wins out of last 5 runs coming over C/D. Has won the last 3 over C/d including in this class the run before last by 1/2 a length. This runs comes under a penalty for a 16 length class 5 C/D win Last time out. When winning in this Class, was weighted at 11S now only 11S3Lb , although official rating is now 110, when previously 98
Southwell – AW – Standard
3.05 – Handicap – Class 4 – 6f
Bring on a spinner – 2 out of 2 over C/D here. although was 6th last time out at Chelmsford over 7f & the race previously was again 6th at this course, but that was over 5f, now returned to optimum distance where he won in this class in January.
Wolverhampton – AW – Standard
6.45 – Handicap – Class 6 – 1m 5f 194y
Cape Spirit – Has finished 2nd on last 2 visit’s to this course & was beaten by a shorthead in an apprentice Handicap over C/D. Oisin Murphy takes over from the claimer & a big run is forecast
1.30 River Wylde 15-2
.Ran a stinker here in October but has won 3 on the bounce since then including 2 races at Ludlow over 1m 7f and also won at Kempton over 2m in February. Henderson has his yard in good order and could easily get his first winner on the board here.
4.50 Beware The Bear 8-1
.Is another nice looking horse from the Seven Barrows yard has been in tremendous form this year winning his last 4 races over 2m 7f moves up in trip again here and can’t be dismissed with further progress looking likely here.
5.30 Gold Present 12-1
. Hasn’t had the easiest of times recently running in difficult races was a good 2nd to exciting prospect Frodon at Kempton in February runs off same mark here and is out of a half sister to Rajdhanni Express who won this race in 2013 for Nicky Henderson.
